If you’re lucky, you’ve heard Eddie Bond play fiddle. He has been awarded the prestigious “Best All-Around Performer” at the Galax Fiddler’s Convention, has received the National Heritage Fellowship from the US government, and has played as far away as France and Australia. But Eddie Bond added “author” to his resume with the publishing of his first book this past October, and if you come to Galax Public Library tomorrow, Saturday, December 21st and 1pm, you can hear him read from FOUR SEASON IN THE BLUE RIDGE. This author talk is free and open to the public, but the Fries native and old-time musician will sell paperback ($12) and hard back ($20) editions of his book at the reading, autographing them afterwards as time permits.
