Blueberry picking for summer reading families! Registration begins on June 24th, spaces are limited. Sign-up with your home library: Carroll County Public Library picks blueberries on July 1st. The library pays for one gallon of blueberries per family. Details and directions provided during registration. This program takes place at DEER HAVEN BLUEBERRY PATCH, 118 Raven Ridge Rd, Allisonia, VA 24347.

We want to clarify that the Blueberry Patch is in Carroll County with an Allisonia address and is closer to Hillsville.

FROM CHARLOTTE: Take I-77 N to VA Exit 14, Hillsville. Turn right at end of exit and go to 2nd traffic light. Turn Left onto US221N. Go 1.4 miles to Hwy 100, turn Left. Go 3.8 Miles and turn RIGHT onto Deer Ridge (County Road 783), then turn RIGHT onto Mitchell’s Crossroads. Continue on for 3.3 miles, then turn RIGHT onto Windsong. Go 1 mile, then turn RIGHT onto Raven Ridge. We are 2nd driveway on the right.

FROM I-81: Take exit 89A, Hwy 100 to Hillsville. Go approx. 15 miles to Deer Ridge (County Road 783), turn LEFT, then take 1st LEFT, Mitchell’s Crossroads, go 3.3 miles to Windsong, turn RIGHT, continue for 1 mile to Raven Ridge, turn Right. We are the 2nd driveway on the right.
