Meet author and historian Phillip Andrew Gibbs for a talk about his most recent true-crime book, Law & Order for Hire in Virginia. A native of Franklin County, Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mr. Gibbs recounts some of the events of lawlessness and violence that plagued the late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century in Virginia. The event is free to attend; however, Mr. Gibbs will be selling and autographing his book after the discussion.
