This is an educational program to learn the basics of geocaching, BEST SUITED for ages 9-17. The 10am program meets at the Galax Public Library. The 2pm program meets at Carroll County Parks and Rec. **PLEASE NOTE: a SMART PHONE is REQUIRED to participate!**
Watch the family-friendly movie, MATILDA (PG), based on the book by Roald Dahl. Families have the option to read the book ahead of time, after you see the movie (or not at all)-then have a lively discussion about the differences. Books are available to sign-out beginning July 1st.

Adults have a chance to come to the Galax Public Library and enjoy working with leather by making your very own leather bracelets. Adults must call and register at (276) 236-2042, spaces are limited. All materials are provided, so come out, and enjoy this FREE library program!

This group is open to adults who wish to discuss and improve their writing skills in a lighthearted and enjoyable environment. No registration is required. FREE
Third Tuesday of every month, noon to 2pm. Mobile Marketplace is open to EVERYONE. You do not have to sign-up and there are no eligibility guidelines. Simply show up and shop for pantry staples and produce. Some refrigerated items usually available. New and different items every month. Stop by from 12-2pm to check out the selection. Debit, Credit, SNAP/EBT accepted only.
