Come to the library for outdoor (weather permitting) stories and play time. This program is geared toward preschool and early elementary students, but all ages are welcome. This is great social time for kids and caregivers!
Watch the family-friendly movie The Wild Robot, based on the book by Peter Brown. Families have the option to read the book ahead of time, after you see the movie (or not at all) - then have a lively discussion about the differences. Books are available to sign-out beginning June 9th.
Put your detective skills to work! This program runs for four hours. Lunch is provided. Ages 13-17.
This group is open to adults who wish to discuss and improve their writing skills in a lighthearted and enjoyable environment. No registration is required. Free!
Bring your materials and create in the company of other fiber artists. You do not need to know how to knit or crochet to participate! All skill levels of all yarn crafts are welcome. This is a FREE event! Every 1st & 3rd Thursday inside the Galax Public Library.

Third Tuesday of every month, noon to 2pm. Mobile Marketplace is open to EVERYONE. You do not have to sign-up and there are no eligibility guidelines. Simply show up and shop for pantry staples and produce. Some refrigerated items usually available. New and different items every month. Stop by from 12-2pm to check out the selection. Debit, Credit, SNAP/EBT accepted only.
