This meeting is to watch the movie based on the current book club selection and discuss the differences. This month’s book club book is available to be picked up from the circulation desk beginning August 26th.
Adult game night has all of the fun of our Family Game Night event, but is for grown-ups only, featuring a more mature range of games, such as puzzles, cards, chess, etc. Bring your favorite, or play one of ours. All adults welcome. No need to register.
This program is for ages 8-12. The current book club selection can be picked up at the circulation desk at either library. September’s book is Temple Alley Summer by Sachiko Kashiwaba
Bring your materials and create in the company of other fiber artists. You do not need to know how to knit or crochet to participate! All skill levels of all yarn crafts are welcome. This is a FREE event! Every 1st & 3rd Thursday inside the Galax Public Library.
Third Tuesday of every month, noon to 2pm. Mobile Marketplace is open to EVERYONE. You do not have to sign-up and there are no eligibility guidelines. Simply show up and shop for pantry staples and produce. Some refrigerated items usually available. New and different items every month. Stop by from 12-2pm to check out the selection. Debit, Credit, SNAP/EBT accepted only.
